- Preparation of spherical silver particles for electronic applications; Sponsored by E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. To develop and optimize methods for the preparation of Ag particles with controlled size, shape and morphology.
- Preparation of large spherical non-aggregated nickel particles; Sponsored by Shocking Technologies. To develop method for the preparation of large, spherical, monodisperse Nickel particles.
- Preparation of bimetallic particles with novel optical and catalytic properties.
- Supervising and guiding undergraduate and graduate students on their efforts to complete research projects / theses.
- Interpretation of data sets, writing scientific papers, reports for projects and manuscript preparation.

- Developed an easy-scalable and cost-effective reproducible system for synthesizing spherical gold particles having diameters of 30-40nm.
- Research and development of pure metallic and metallic composite particles (Ag, Cu, Ni, Au, CuAg, AgPd, NiAu, NiPt, CoPt, Al Ag).
- Research and development of composite polymer / metal (Ni, Au) and glass, graphite, tungsten carbide / metal particles for applications in electronic devices.
